Nicholena’s Pizza + Kitchen

It all started in northern Italy, where Nicholena was born. Throughout her life, Nicholena (fondly called Nonnie), loved to cook, and create her own special recipes using the freshest  ingredients from her garden to prepare the special dishes her family and friends loved to enjoy.  Her pizzas? Masterpieces! Thin, crispy crusts,  baked to a golden glow in her old brick oven, layered with the sweetest tomatoes, fresh basil, and mozzarella. And don’t forget about the homemade gnocchi, the ravioli stuffed with ricotta and spinach and that famous Sunday gravy that simmered all day. What a time that was, enjoying all of these homemade Italian favorites with family and friends. 

From generation to generation, Nicholena shared her recipes and way of cooking with her children and grandchildren who loved spending time with her in the kitchen. “Cooking is amore,” she always said. “You don’t just make food—you fill it with love.”
